1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Solace (also known as SoloBot), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the application.

2. Nature of the Service

Solace is an AI companion app powered by advanced artificial intelligence models. It is designed for emotional support, personal reflection, and private journaling. When you chat, your messages are sent to our secure server infrastructure, which processes them using AI language models to generate responses. Your conversations are stored server-side to enable session continuity and memory features.

3. Not Professional Advice

Solace is not a human, and its responses are generated by predictive text algorithms. It does not provide professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out to qualified human professionals or emergency services in your area.

4. AI Limitations & Hallucinations

Due to the nature of Large Language Models (LLMs), Solace may occasionally generate false, inaccurate, or inappropriate information (commonly known as "hallucinations"). You agree to exercise your own judgment when interpreting AI-generated responses. AI-generated content should not be relied upon for important decisions.

5. AI Technology

Solace uses advanced AI language models to generate responses. The AI models powering Solace may change over time as we improve the service. Your conversations are processed by AI, not humans. All AI-generated content is subject to the limitations described in Section 4.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Solace offers auto-renewable subscription plans (Monthly and Yearly) that unlock premium features including unlimited messages, all AI personas, unlimited memories, unlimited mood records, full mood insights, and automatic AI memory features.

• If a free trial is available, your Apple ID account will be charged after the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current billing period.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

7. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you input into Solace and how you use the AI's responses. Do not use Solace for any unlawful, harmful, or malicious purposes.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible, removing all conversations, memories, mood records, and other data from our servers. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it in your Apple ID Account Settings before deleting your account.

9. No Warranty

Solace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Solace shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app, reliance on the AI's statements, or data loss.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
