By downloading, installing, or using SoloBot, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

SoloBot is a locally-running AI companion application that performs all processing on your device. The app allows you to download open-source AI models and have private conversations without any data leaving your phone.

3. Not Professional Advice

SoloBot is designed for emotional reflection, journaling, and casual conversation. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or legal advice. If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact emergency services or a qualified professional.

4. AI Limitations

SoloBot uses open-source AI models that may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate responses. AI-generated content should not be relied upon for important decisions. You are responsible for how you use the information provided by the AI.

5. Open-Source Models

The AI models available in SoloBot are open-source and subject to their respective licenses (e.g., Apache 2.0, MIT, Gemma Terms of Use). By downloading a model, you agree to comply with its license terms. The app will display relevant license information before download when applicable.

6. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you input into SoloBot and how you use the AI's responses. Do not use SoloBot for any unlawful, harmful, or malicious purposes.

7. No Warranty

SoloBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of SoloBot shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to damages arising from AI-generated content.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
