SoloBot Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Overview

SoloBot is designed with privacy as its core principle. The app runs entirely on your device — we do not operate any servers, and we do not collect, store, transmit, or process any user data whatsoever.

Data Collection

We collect no data. Specifically:

On-Device Processing

All AI inference is performed locally on your iPhone using the device's Neural Engine and CPU. Your conversations, prompts, and AI responses are processed and stored exclusively on your device's local storage (app sandbox). No data is sent to any external server.

Network Usage

The only network activity is downloading AI model files from HuggingFace (huggingface.co), a public open-source model repository. This is a one-time download per model. No user data is transmitted during this process.

Data Storage

All app data — including conversations, settings, and downloaded models — is stored in the app's local sandbox directory on your device. This data is:

Memory Vault

SoloBot includes a Memory Vault feature that extracts and stores personal facts (such as your name, preferences, and hobbies) from conversations. This data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is never transmitted externally. You can view, edit, and delete all stored memories at any time.

Third-Party Services

SoloBot does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. There are no ads, no in-app purchases requiring external servers, and no social features.

Children's Privacy

SoloBot is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. We do not collect any personal information from any user, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
